Cristina Iannuccelli

Cristina Iannuccelli is a MD, PhD, at the Policlinico Umberto I – Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. Her main fields of interest are fibromyalgia and its pharmacological and nonpharmacological management, chronic pain in rheumatology and early arthritis.

A large part of translational and clinical studies have been carried out on fibromyalgia, its pathophysiological mechanisms and management strategies. She is part of the Pain Study Group of the Italian Society of Rheumatology and of the director’s board of ReDo, a non-profit association of women rheumatologists founded in Italy to share clinical and scientific issues.
